APPEARANCE: Ika stands at 5’7’’ tall, has hazel eyes and straight dark reddish-brown hair that goes down to the middle of his ears, almost covering his eyes and just long enough to ‘tickle’ the top of his nose. Aside from Suigetsu, he is the only known shinobi outside the Seven Shinobi Swordsmen to have sharp shark-like teeth; acquisition of this trait is still unknown other than to those who have it. On his face are two blue tattoos, both parallel squiggles that look a lot like the bottom half of the ANBU tattoo. Though Ika has never been known to be an ANBU, he wears clothes that bare striking resemblance to their uniform. His torso and forearms are both armor plated, along with the back of his wrists and palms. The major difference in the clothing is that Ika’s shirt, which is also worn under the upper armor, is long sleeved and in a dark shade of blue. Over the previously mentioned attire Ika wears a waist length hooded jacket that is often discarded during battle, thus is ragged and stained. He wears his kunai and shuriken pouch on his right leg with his back pouch worn on the opposite side.
PERSONALITY: Ika is a blood thirsty daredevil, who will push himself to the extreme’s of his body’s limits. Bloodshed is interwoven so much into his persona that it is said that his hair color comes from the dried blood of all those he has killed. When the one that is referred to looks at killing as an ‘art,’ it’d be hard not to believe it. Though Ika seems like he’d be completely illogical during battle, he is actually quite intelligent. His mind is sharp and he picks up on the little things quick, traps are almost of no use against him. He can formulate strategies on the fly with little issue and can even fight while doing so. Ika is known to be very stubborn; only listening to who he chooses. He looks at orders as mere suggestions to what he should be doing, once having said that “… it isn’t that I listen to orders or do as I am told, I just merely earn my keep with little resistance.”
WEAPONS: Ika carries with him a katana and wakizashi in a combination known as a daishou. Both swords have a silver guard and black hilt with blades that have an oily-luminescent sheen. He is NEVER seen without these weapons. He also carries with him the shinobi basics such as katana and shiriken.

JUTSU:
Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu (Mist Servant technique) (D-rank): This genjutsu creates clones that phase in and out of the ground as if they were made of a blackish, oil-like liquid. When attacked, the clones regenerate themselves. The clones can be controlled to make it seem as if they're throwing kunai. The user can then time their attacks with those of the clones.
Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)(C-rank): This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, it is stronger than steel as stated by Zabuza Momochi. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Even so, the target is still able to speak.
Suiton: Suiryudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique)(B-rank): Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique takes the form of a giant, powerful dragon, created out of water. This jutsu needs forty-four hand seals, the highest amount of hand seals necessary to use a jutsu shown in the series so far. Another drawback to the technique is that it requires the user to be near a large body of water to complete the technique.
Suiton: Bakusui Shoha (Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave)(B-rank) : After spitting out a great volume of water from his mouth, the enemy is swallowed up by this advancing surge and crushed. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speed, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks, the amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used. Afterwards, the excess water can presumably be used for additional water release jutsu.
Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Release: Violent Water wave) (C-rank): Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases.
Raihajiku (Lightning snap) (C-rank): By concentrating a small amount of chakra into his thumb and middle finger, Ika can create a weak bolt of electricity by snapping his fingers, effectively zapping whomever and whatever he pleases. The jutsu’s power is questionable considering he has only ever used it for fun and to zap himself out of illusions.
Suiton: Ika no Kuroi Kiri (Water Release: Squid's Black Mist) (B-rank): Ika's own variant of Kirigakure no Jutsu. Once the proper hand seals are performed, Ika spews out of his mouth a dark black mist which quickly envelopes the area. The density of the fog depends on Ika's preferences, but can obstruct vision up to 80-90% at its fullest. It is best used for defensive purposes since Ika himself cannot see very well in said mist.
Raiton: Juu Unagi no Renda (Lightning Release: Barrage of Ten Eels) (A-rank): In order for Ika to perform this jutsu, he has to be near or on a large enough body of water to support the jutsu. Once released, ten large eels ,measuring up to fifteen feet in length, made out of electricity will form below the surface of the water. They will then zip through the water towards the targets. Ika can potentially attack up to ten opponents or more with this attack. Not only can the eels charge towards their respective foe, they also send electric currents throughout the body of water, resulting in this attack being extremely dangerous for anyone but Ika. The biggest downside of this attack is that in order for maximum effectiveness, Ika needs to have almost if not all of his attention placed on the targets. Any distraction can result in a wasted eel, or worse, an attack on a comrade.
Raiton: Tsuiraku Ryuu no Koukyoukyoku (Lightning Release: Symphony of the Crashing Dragon) (A-rank): The jutsu gets its name from the way the thunder rolls across the sky, getting louder and louder as the attack builds up energy. Once reaching Ika's desired attack strength, a massive column falls from the sky, the leading edge in the shape of a dragon's head. If the target can avoid the initial column of lightning, they still have to get away from large outburst of electricity that spirals across the ground until it dissipates.

The Bloodmist village certainly had a way with raising children. Both of Ika’s parents were shinobi, though he couldn’t recall their ranks or names if asked. A mission gone awry claimed both of their lives when he was only four, resulting in him being shoved off to one of the few orphanages in the village.
The orphanage was a rough place; it seemed that someone was always out to get something you had. Majority of the children living there were going to the academy, which only seemed to have worsened the situation ten-fold. Ika was no exception when it came to this. He too had joined the academy, the only difference was that by the time the others were looking forward to their first lessons in basic hand to hand combat, Ika had already graduated. Genin at age ten. This certainly was enough to get him noticed, and even more importantly, kept him relatively safe.
Ika would soon find out however that safety in the shinobi world was all a farce. An attempt on his life while taking a nap would result in his first kill, ending his bubble of safety and giving him an ever worsening thirst for blood. The kill resulted in what seemed like a side effect of a hallucinogen. It was the start of what he considers his curse, the need to kill. Sure, he knew that it was all up in his head, this ‘need’, but Ika had also done nothing to stop it.
After some time, it seemed as if Ika would never find an outlet for his ‘artistic’ abilities. Just blatant murder was out of the question as for it’d gain too much attention. That is when he’d meet the man who’d provide that outlet and give him the chance he needed to do whatever he wished, Shouyou Reisui. Ika probably would have seemed like nothing but a genin just about to take the chuunin exam; and because of this he was forced to wait, Reisui wanted to see how well he’d complete the examinations. Ika easily passed one exam after another, making it to the final examination . One on one battles is where he’d shine, but no one expected that he’d so eagerly fight one of his own team mates. Forty-five seconds, that is how long it took for the completion of the fight, from start to end. The young shinobi had never before truly shown the fruits of his labor.
It had been known that for years, up until the academy, Ika had disappeared for hours, and sometimes days on end. He’d come back all bruised and worn out, but repeat almost right away. He wasn’t exactly open nor welcoming about people asking about his activities, so no one asked. Ika had gone off and found himself a sensei who’d train him Niten Ichi-ryuu. A dying art in the shinobi world, it's the art of fighting with two blades and staff. Having a natural talent for it, Ika progressed rapidly, becoming even better than his master, and as a result, murdered him just before the examinations began.
Seeing a use for the child, Reisui accepted him into his organization, but closely watched the seemingly unstable chuunin. Two years later Ika challenged Reisui’s second in command and defeated him by disemboweling the poor man; an act that’d soon become some sort of a signature whenever he’d win in battle. Ika has kept the position up until now, and had even left the village with Reisui, becoming a missing-nin along with him.
