NAME: Oketsu Kotone
AGE: 42
GENDER: Female
RANK: Jounin
VILLAGE: Konohagakure
APPEARANCE: Kotone is tall and willowy, with deep, violet-colored hair and brown-red eyes set on a thin face. Her build is slim, with slight curve and small bust. Kotone's normal attire consists of a mesh bodysuit; an elaborate black top that wraps around the bust, secured with red ties; a black skirt that wraps at the hips and cuts off at an angle at the mid-thigh, and shin-high, black sandals. Needle-thin scars cover her body.
PERSONALITY: Kotone is a selfish, demanding woman that believes herself to be in the right, regardless of the situation. She has the capacity to hold grudges for exceedingly lengthy periods of time, and feels justified in every action she commits, because she devoutly believes that she deserves every benefit she receives in life and does not deserve any trial or wrongdoing against her.
WEAPONS: Two wakizashi, engraved with thin scars and sealed over with dried blood; two katar with hand coverings.
CHAKRA ELEMENT: Earth, water
JUTSU:
(10 points available)
Kenjutsu
Aun no Zaiaku (The Trinity's Sin)
Kenjutsu, A Rank
After dislocating the joints of her arms and elongating her reach, Kotone shifts chakra into her injuries and is able to move her wakizashi at speeds only a Sharingan can follow. Aun no Zaiku is capable of killing an armed man within seconds.
Teikai no Kaminoshi (God's Lingering Death)
Kenjutsu, A Rank
Using her katars, Kotone will set herself into her personal taijutsu style and attack accordingly at one hundred non-vital points on the body, ensuring for a long and painful poisoning – and in most cases, a long death via bleeding out from shallow wounds.
Sokou Guujin Gengaku ja Nai (Unstrung Puppet Behavior)
Kenjutsu, B Rank
With dislocated jointed and jerking movements, Kotone is able to deflect and evade most other bladed attacks with the wide, flat edge of her katars.

Ninjutsu
Shio Gyorai Shin (Torpedo Needle Current)
Ninjutsu, B Rank
Removing coated nails from her sleeves, Kotone will throw them into the air, then drop one into water. By guiding them with chakra, the nails will follow the first to the water. Then, at her discretion, she can fire the nails from the body of water through the feet of her target to unbalance their chakra.
The immediately surrounding water will also be inflicted with whatever Dokunochi she has coated onto the nails.
Suishuu Gorugon (Strong Current, Torrential Rain)
Ninjutsu, B Rank
Kotone can form water into the shape of biting snakes. If there is even a drop of her blood in the water, she can use the snakes as a way to inflict poison.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu
Ninjutsu, C Rank
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.

Taijutsu
Taijutsu Fighting Style:
Shitamizu Aka (Offering of Flowing Water)
With quick and fluid movements, Kotone's fighting style is much like that of the Hyuuga, with striking jabs and rolling dodges. That is where the two end, however, for Kotone uses a stepping pattern unlike other clans. As she varies the amount of chakra in her feet, she is able to slip under and over water and other slick surfaces quickly, evading attacks and dealing damage to opponents with ease.
Hatounishi (Whitecap Spiral)
Taijutsu, A Rank
Kotone will loosen the chakra in her feet completely, allowing her to glide along the top of the water or other slick surfaces. She will loose her katar during the movement, and will kick water up before an enemy, using the response from the opponent to determine the weakest point of attack. Using Hatounishi, Kotone has a vulnerability against long-range weapons, for she leaves herself open for sparse seconds between the kick of the water and the slice of her blade.
Taki no Tesuji (Waterfall Caligraphy)
Taijutsu, A Rank
Kotone brings her fingers to a point, as if holding a brush. On the water, she will allow her arms to freefall, and will set her feet firmly in the water to ensure complete balance. It is a defensive stance, as she can't move her legs during it, but can instead repel all projectiles that come her way by loose-wristed blocking.
Hien (Flying Swallow)
Taijutsu, B Rank
Feeding chakra into her katars, Kotone will extend the length of her blades. An extra extension of invisible chakra will create a sharp edge that functions like the normal blade itself. Seeing the knives, her opponent may misjudge how far they need to move to avoid an incoming strike. Even if they manage to avoid the metal portion of the blade, the chakra portion may cut into them as well.
Tachikata no Kakushigei (The Geisha's Hidden Performance)
Taijutsu, B Rank
Tachikata no Kakushigei allows for Kotone to take on a frail appearance, as if the slightest wind might break her form. With gentle movements and softly-landed blows, she is able to deceive an opponent of her true purpose: Each finger is equipped with small, overly-thin needles that have been dipped in a fast-acting numbing agent. As a battle progresses, her opponent will slowly use the use of muscle control and will eventually be overpowered.

BLOODLINE: Dokunochi. Only the females in the Oketsu line may carry the kekkai genkai trait. Furuchi allows for Kotone's bodily fluids (spit, blood, etc.) to act as various poisons.
Drawback to Furuchi: Depending on the poison used, Kotone's immune system will deteriorate for a period of time before building back up to its original resilience.
Shiktesu
Effect on victim: Minor paralysis, cardiac arrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, then finally cardiac arrest. Akin to the most lethal dose of batrachotoxin. Can take as little as ten minutes to kill, but may take up to half an hour, depending on the weight and build of the victim.
Effect on Kotone: Shortness of breath, profuse sweating, lack of coordination, vomiting, abdominal pain, and temporary loss of speech. Effects are based off of a moderate dose of tetrodotoxin. May take up to an hour to recover.
HISTORY: Kotone was born the second daughter to the head of the Oketsu clan. Unlike her elder sister, she held no desires for the clan itself, preferring to spend her time simply doing as she wished; as the younger daughter, she felt no real responsibility in Oketsu matters, and was glad that Takako filled that particular void. Truthfully, she was grateful when their mother died before naming an heir, as Kotone herself had been considered the preferred child, having come to her kekkai genkai at a young age.
After Takako's rise to power, Kotone was pawned off to the Uchiha as a prized bride. However, she herself had no interest in the arrangement, instead preferring the company of a young man from Noiru. After little deliberating, the two eloped, promises be damned. Love mattered more than obligation.
And children mattered even more.
At the thought of losing their young daughter to the clan, Kotone's husband threatened to steal the family away from Oketsu clutches. Kotone herself thought the whole ordeal rather romantic, but it was not to be. Yuudai died, and Kotone returned to her family with child in tow. Bitterness crept in, and eventually Kotone attempted an escape of her own. Takako pursued, if anything to reclaim Kotone's child for the clan.
Kotone fell in battle.
Or at least, she thought she had. Eventually, she washed up on unknown shores, half-dead. Recovery was slow, but profitable. As she regained herself, she learned of Hyouzen, and in time maneuvered her way into the organization.
