APPEARANCE: Brown-red eyes, white hair that cuts off about mid-back, with a thin frame. Ayana normally can be seen in a shortened, long-sleeved, rose-coloured haori that wraps at the waist and dark, purple, baggy pants that cut off at the ankles.

PERSONALITY: Ayana is a happy child, rarely sad or depressed, though she doesn't handle criticism well.

-Doton: Dochuu Eigyo (Underground Fish Projection)
Ninjutsu, C Rank.
Using bunshin, Ayana will use the clones to confuse her enemies and then hide within the earth. From the shadows of the clones, she can then attack their target.

-Shikomi Shindan (Prepared Needle Projectile)
Ninjutsu, C Rank.
By pulling on the string in the back, the needles will be launched at her foe. The needles are dipped in poison to add to their lethality.

-Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
Ninjutsu, D Rank.
The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand, or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

-Soushuuha (Manipulate Advancing Blades)
Ninjutsu, C Rank.
This technique allows Ayana to hover multiple kunai in the air while she approaches a target. The technique allows a ninja to unleash a torrent of kunai much more quickly than if each was thrown individually.

BLOODLINE: Furuchi. Only the females in the Oketsu line carry the kekkai genkai trait. Furuchi allows for Ayana's bodily fluids (spit, blood, etc.) to act as various poisons.
Drawback to Furuchi: Depending on the poison used, Ayana's immune system will deteriorate for a period of time before building back up to its original resilience.

Shiketsu (Deadly Blood) - Lethal -
(Tetrodotoxin) Shortness of breath, profuse sweating, incoordination, vomiting, abdominal pain, and temporary loss of speech. May take up to an hour to recover.
Effect on Victim - (Batrachotoxin) Paralysis, cardiac arrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, then finally cardiac arrest. Can take as little as ten minutes to kill, but may take up to half an hour, depending on the weight and build of the victim.

HISTORY: Ayana was the only child born from Oketsu clan leader Takako. Because of this, she was named the heir to the clan's leadership. Well-guarded by the other Oketsu women, she has only met with her father, Sugita Tajiyo, a few times.

OTHER: Ayana looks up to her older cousin, Akemi.
