(Coloured - Effects on Akemi. Italics - Effects on victims. The following are the effects using Akemi's posions only.)
Genkaku no Renzu (Hallucinating Lens). Hallucination -
Blurred vision, headaches (minor pressure to throbbing) Takes eight hours to one day to recover, depending how often it is used once Furuchi is triggered.
Effect on victim - Sensory delusion, in where the victim feels mental and physical torture for up to ten minutes.
Shiketsu (Deadly Blood). Lethal -
High fever, double-vision. Takes three days to three weeks to recover, depending how often it is used once Furuchi is triggered.
Effect on victim - (Botulin) Can take up to thirty-six hours to kill, though early into that time frame, the victim will have already fallen to the side-effects of Shiketsu. See Other for details.
Note - Akemi's first use of the lethal poison forced her into the medical ward for three weeks.
HISTORY: While Akemi was still very young, her father killed a high ranking foreign official in self-defense. In blind vengeance, the country sent assassins to kill off Akemi's father's family. By this time, Akemi had already shown signs of the kekkai genkai, and her mother had already taken her to the Oketsu clan--neither mother nor daughter were harmed during the raid.
Afterwards, however, Akemi's mother threw herself into her work as an ANBU, and was killed shortly after Akemi began training in the academy. Feeling the loss, Akemi poured herself into her studies, graduating from the ninja academy at eleven.
She became a Chuunin at 17, and a Jounin (Tokubetsu) at 18. Towards the end of her nineteenth year, she became a part of Konoha's ANBU force. Recently, she was forced to resign from ANBU, and is now working as a teacher and team leader of her own squad.
OTHER:
-Before joining ANBU, she was close with her sensei, Yuudo Toshiro. It has been speculated that the two had maintained a relationship deeper than student-teacher.
- Though the genes are by this time strained, she is considered an inbred child by her clan, as her mother comes from the Oketsu clan and her father from the Noiru.
- Botulin poison: Characterized by muscle weakness and paralysis, disturbances of vision, swallowing and speech, and a high mortality rate (in that order, in most cases).
