NAME:Inuzuka Shirio ( 犬塚尻尾 )
AGE:12
GENDER: Male
RANK:Genin
APPEARANCE: Shirio’s physical appearance is that of your typical Inuzuka. He has unruly brown hair, black eyes with vertical slit-pupils, elongated canine teeth, nails that he can change into claws and distinct red fang marks on his cheeks. He has a fairly muscular build for a slim kid of his age. It is quite apparent that he has trained for high speed taijutsu when he has his coat and armor removed. His facial expressions vary like anyone else, but his most notable is the sly smirk that he gets when he plots to do something mischievous. One should be weary of this smirk because it tends to always mean trouble.
Shirio’s clothes are nothing outstanding in any way. He wears a high-collared zip-up jacket that is olive-green in color. Under the jacket is a sleeveless black shirt worn over the typical mesh shirt. Shirio wears his armor above the sleeveless shirt and under his jacket. For the lower half of his body, he wears black, semi-lose fitting pants with his kunai and shuriken pouch on his right leg, and his accessory pouch attached above his left back pocket. He wears black boots instead of the normal ninja-sandals; these don’t inhibit his movement nor speed. He wears there because of bad experience with aforementioned sandals. And last but not least, depending mostly on the mission, Shirio will wear a backpack to carry extra gear, and if need be, a package if the mission calls for it.
WEAPONS:Shirio carries the typical shinobi gear, such as kunai, shuriken and smoke bombs.
CHAKRA ELEMENT:Water
JUTSU: Suiton: Mizurappa (Water Release: Violent Water Wave) (B Rank) : Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases. Having many variations, this is a basic Water Release technique.
Inuzuka Jutsu
Shikyaku no Jutsu (Four Legs Technique): This technique grants animal-like accelerated fighting instinct and reflexes. By stretching chakra around one's entire body and moving on all fours, one obtains super-high speed, like that of a wild animal.
Taught only to the members of the Inuzuka clan, this technique forms the basis of a Inuzuka clan member's Taijutsu fighting style, and will add even more to their feral-like appearances; their canine teeth and their finger-and-toenails grow to claw-like length, their eyes become more wild.
When under the effects of this jutsu, an Inuzuka will display feats of physical strength, speed, and endurance. The form is best suited for using and supporting the ferocious hit-and-run tactics that the Inuzuka clan are known well for.
Jujin Bunshin (Beast Human Clone): A modified version/mix of a Transformation Technique and a clone technique, this jutsu, unique to the Inuzuka clan, allows a canine-user to transform their animal companion into a perfect copy of themselves. When combined with the Four Legs Technique, the user and the animal become virtually impossible to tell apart, since both act equally animalistic. Like any transformation, the jutsu can be broken by identifying and attacking the animal, thus dispelling the transformation.
Gatsuga (Dual Piercing Fang): The user and his partner spin at a ferocious speed and deliver many powerful beast-like attacks when contact is made with the target. The force of this attack is strong enough to drill through stone. This attack can be done alone, although it is less effective.
Jinju Konbi Henge: Sotoro (Man Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf): Using a modified form of a Combination Transformation, the user and their canin companion transform themselves into a large, two-headed wolf. In this form they can use Dual Wolf Fang.
Garoga: (Dual Wolf Fang): Once the ninken uses Dynamic Marking to mark the target, both he and his companion use Jinju Konbi Henge: Sotoro to become a large, two-headed wolf. The two then perform a much more powerful Dual Piercing Fang attack. Like the lesser version, they spin rapidly to attack their target. Unlike the previous version, however, they move so rapidly that they can't see where they're going, hence the reason for the earlier Dynamic Marking, which allows them to track their opponents via the distinctive scent.
This attack is powerful enough to cut a person in two, and even dent a Rashōmon gate. Even if the attack misses, its speed is so great that the surrounding air can slice like a blade. Such power is not without its drawbacks, however. Not only does this attack effectively blind the users for its duration, but it tires them to the point where they could only use the attack once more before needing rest.
Dainamikkumakingu (Dynamic Marking): This jutsu is the seemingly simple act of a canine urinating on a target, allowing both him and his shinobi companion to track the scent. This is a prerequisite for using Double Wolf Fang, since the speed of the technique makes it impossible for the user to see while using it.
Tsuga (Piercing Fang): The user spins at a ferocious speed and delivers many powerful beast-like attacks when contact is made with the target. This attack is done alone but it can be done with a partner, making it more effective.
HISTORY: Shirio was born into the Inuzuka clan twelve years ago during the summer month of June. His life began as any other Inuzuka clan member; raised around ninken and trained to become a shinobi. Through his training and time with his fellow clan members, he developed an undying loyalty to the clan; and thus has been known to go out of his way to do anything that will benefit the clan. Despite all of this, he never felt as complete as is comrades, there was always something missing from his life. A canine companion. Something that was only given to Inuzuka when they reached a certain age. Shirio came of age perhaps during one of the most trying events event’s of his early childhood. The untimely death of his older brother and mentor, Ashi. Ashi was a jounin sensei who had been captured and killed as a result of protecting his genin students. Though hailed as a hero, Ashi’s death had a deep and profound impact on Shirio’s life, bringing him even closer to his clan, and helped him develop more as a shinobi. In the end, there was a silver lining to the death of Ashi. Shirio was given a rare opportunity to choose. Either take on a partnership with a ninken pup or his brothers ninken companion, Shiromaru.
Shiriomaru was a brilliant silver-white colored dog with crystal blue eyes and had a wolfish appearance. Shiromaru happened to be Ashi’s second ninken companion after the loss of his first due to an illness. Because of this, Shirio and Shiromaru had virtually grown up together. The decision seemed almost obvious to Shirio, he had to accept Shiromaru as his companion.
Their partnership had gotten off to quite a rocky start. The ninken had years of experience while Shirio had relatively few. Nonetheless, neither one of them would give up. In an odd turn of fate, Shiromaru taught Shirio instead of Shirio teaching Shiromaru. Having insight on what real battle was like, Shiromaru was able to help train Shirio and give him knowledge that he would have never gotten if he had taken a pup. Over time, they both learned to work together and developed a bond stronger than any other. Neither one would think twice before putting themselves in danger for the other.
Talking Shiromaru was a double-edged sword when it came to academy training. Unlike his fellow Inuzuka clan members who were of the same age as him, Shirio was not allowed to take his ninken companion into the classroom, or the building for that matter. Shiromaru was not a pup like the others, but rather a large dog who’s nose came up to Shirio’s shoulder; and it is even believed that he wasn’t done growing.
A small number of years passed by with little incident; other than the fact that Shirio would fall asleep in class and goof off when he should have been doing his homework. This isn’t to say that he is stupid, he just found class boring. He was the type who’d much rather do physical training than read in a book about how to do the very same thing.
Graduation came with the quick passing of time. The time seemed as if it had been blown away in a brisk breeze to the young Inuzuka. Shirio had passed his final exam on his first try, though just by the tip of his nose. Examinations varied by sensei, and his wasn’t as simple as doing a transformation jutsu.
With graduation came genin teams under the guidance of a jounin sensei. Shirio loved this because not only was he able to make new friends or show off his talents, but it also meant that he was able to develop his abilities and skills as a shinobi. To his great disappointment however, the first few missions with nothing short of grunt work. Weeding gardens and chasing after a lost black cat that seemed to never stay put. Despite this, Shirio started to bond with his new teammates, and have fun on these petty missions. But with all things, the easy stuff came to an end and his team was being sent on more difficult missions. There was one in particular that will forever haunt Shirio.
The mission was a simple; take an important message from the Hokage to their ally in the sand, the Kazekage. While the message was indeed important, it wasn’t anything to fret about; so off they went. The first couple of days passed with little incident, but as the fourth and final day came to pass, things quickly went downhill from there. Shirio picked up on an unusual scent which was immediately reported to his sensei. Ordered to run up ahead with Shiromaru, Shirio was to scout out a narrow pass. Seeing and smelling nothing he nonchalantly returned to his team, not realizing that he was leading the enemy right towards them. It was an easy mistake; the enemy had a bird scouting the area too. Not thinking to look for such a thing, he returned to his team and reported. Having no reason to doubt his student, the sensei started to lead his team towards the narrow pass. Just before they reached the pass they were ambushed. The enemy had gotten word that there was a team carrying a message from the Hokage, and believing that it was something of upmost importance they decided to take it, no matter what.
The team being caught off guard had little time to respond, resulting in one of the genin was picked off almost instantly, killed by several shuriken to the back. The sensei did all he could to protect his final two students, fending off as many of the bandits as he could while the two genin made a run for it. Shirio was hesitant at first, but after being reassured by his sensei that he’d catch up to them, the student left. His remaining genin teammate was a girl known by the name of Kana, a pretty girl who Shirio had taken a liking too. Being only several miles away from their destination, they decided to make a beeline rush towards it; even after Shiromaru showed great hesitation. Soon after they were attacked. The genin stood little chance against the bandits on their own, even with Shiromaru. There was just too many of them. Kana was killed in such a way that Shirio had done all he could to block it out of his memory. In the end he himself was too injured to move on his own. Once the bandits had what they wanted they left, just as quickly as they appeared. Shirio was dragged to the sand by Shiromaru and word sent to Konoha about what had happened. Shirio and Shiromaru were all that was left, even their sensei had succumbed to his wounds, poisoned and left; help arrived too late for him to be saved.
In the few months following, Shirio had secluded himself to the house, rarely coming out. While no one blamed him for what happened he knew very well that majority of it was his fault. Faced with that realization he vowed to himself and his ninken companion that he’d never make that mistake again, and that he’d one day avenge the death of his team. Deciding that it was time to move on, Shirio had requested to be transferred to a new team; and soon after, he was put on team who was short one member, team six.
